Welcome - thoughts and feelings welcomed. Cara is a strengths-based, collaborative Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is an organization-obsessed, coffee loving, playful therapist who shows up for life fostering creativity and connection. Cara believes play is an important part of life and a powerful tool that can build trust, foster learning, regulate emotions, reduce anxieties, promote creative thinking, encourage open communication, and increase self-esteem and spirit. Cara values connection to her clients, shared experiences, and establishing a trusting working relationship. Cara believes her clients know themselves or have the potential to know themselves better than their therapist. Cara is a former teacher who has worked with and supported children, parents, and families for over 30 years. She is a mother of two grown children, a grandmother of five busy grandchildren, and one an energetic labradoodle named Jack.  Cara’s specialties include parenting, children, and individuals. She works with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, goal setting and self-esteem.
