I believe we all experience difficult and painful times in life, and it often takes an outside source to guide us through the healing process. In my practice, I utilize a variety of approaches to assist you in getting “unstuck” and moving forward. My process is client-centered, solution-oriented, and strengths-based, as I believe we all possess the ability to change and bring more fulfillment, joy, and meaning into our lives.

 I work with adult clients of all ages, and I particularly enjoy working with those experiencing academic, career, personal, and relationship challenges. I also work with clients in chronic pain, with a specialty in chronic migraine management, to lessen the frequency and severity of pain. My other areas of focus include adjustment and life transitions, anxiety and stress, communication difficulties, burnout, perfectionism, struggles with self-esteem, and trauma.

 As an integrative health coach, I offer a whole-personal approach to wellness, relying heavily on both cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques. I believe strongly in the correlation between mental and physical health, as well as the healing power of positive, protective factors such as humor, movement, and nature.

I am a pre-licensed provider. This is a step all licensed therapists go through on their path to full licensure. My supervisor at Minnesota Online Counseling is Dave Halper, MA, LMFT, License #1644.
